At Canterbury Villa of Alliance, every success story of our rehabilitation residents is a cause for celebration. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to empower residents like Irene Horne with the tools they need to regain their independence and thrive beyond our facility's walls.

Irene's journey with us began after a fall at home followed by surgical intervention in June 2023. Upon admission, Irene faced significant challenges, being totally dependent on assistance for all tasks due to non-weight bearing of her right lower extremity.



However, Irene's determination, coupled with the support and expertise of our therapy team, sparked remarkable progress. With relentless effort and dedication, Irene progressed to the point where she expressed her desire to return home to her family. Through intensive therapy sessions, Irene achieved significant milestones, including the ability to bear weight on her right lower extremity, perform transfers with assistance, and maintain standing balance.

As Irene prepares to transition back to her home, we at Canterbury Villa of Alliance extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for her continued success.
