Canterbury Summer Luau 2022!

Canterbury Villa of Alliance finished summer with a bang as we celebrated with our Summer Luau! It was a day filled with fun! We had games, snacks and prizes for all the staff and residents.

We started the event with a delicious meal prepared by our incredible kitchen staff. The champion of the meal was the cake, but this wasn't an ordinary cake. It was half carrot cake and half almond. Everyone couldn't stop raving about it!



Next, our residents and their family members played some games. The first one was called 'The Popsicle Game,' where we found out who could eat a popsicle the fastest. Even with a few brain freezes, everyone was happy to play and receive a prize. Our next game was 'What’s in Your Purse/Wallet/Walker!?' Prizes were given to the first and second-place winners.



The event also featured a photo area where residents could get their pictures taken with a Canterbury Luau 2022 frame. It was so fun having our residents, their families and staff members all together participating in games and reminiscing on Canterbury summers from the past.
