Meet Canterbury Villa’s New Therapy Director
July 9, 2025
Canterbury Villa of Alliance is thrilled to welcome Malea Stuffel as our new Therapy Director! With nearly two years already spent as part of our therapy team, Malea is no stranger to our residents, and we’re excited for the fresh ideas and positive energy she brings as she steps into her new leadership role.
Malea has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for 8 years. A proud graduate of Marlington High School and Stark State College, she’s always had a heart for helping others regain strength and independence. Her passion for therapy shines through in everything she does.
When she’s not working, Malea enjoys working out, baking, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her boyfriend and their furry family—4 cats and 2 dogs!
Malea shared that she’s most excited to play a more hands-on role in both the quality of therapy services and the overall experience patients have during their stay, whether short-term or long-term.
“I’m passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment that feels like home,” she said.
Her vision for the therapy department is all about uplifting and motivating patients.
“Canterbury Villa has always had a great therapy department. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on that—making each session something our residents look forward to, supporting them both physically and emotionally.”
Her goals for the future? To help Canterbury Villa remain a trusted and positive presence in the Alliance community and to continue growing as the area's top-recommended skilled nursing facility.
Please join us in congratulating Malea on her new role—We’re so lucky to have her leading our therapy team!
